So I have had my next tank for the past month but I havent set it up still since I just moved in with my gf. I just got my 5 and 10 re set up this week. Now my next tank will be a 30 gallon that uses a marnineland built in filter hood. It had fipter pads that can be used but I dont have any intention of using those since I plan to clone my 10 gallons and move everyone from there to the 30 with the filter media. The filter is good once I shorten the intake tube since at its current length it is pretty much touching the bottom of the tank and would suck up the substance. Now even after i move over my current media and my Fluval +2 I will have room left. My questions are:
-What type of media to add?
-Use Bio Wheel or stuff that area that would go with a large sponge?
-Should I save and get a Canister filter? I am thinking the 85 bucks ehiem classic for 30 gallon. I plan to still run all 3 filters at same time though.
