Best Media And What Order For Eheim 2028

i have an eheim 2028 which i bought secondhand.

the media consists of:

bottom tray- ceramic/plastic tube things? then blue sponge.

middle tray- looks like normal gravel from tank?

top tray- alpha grog/lava rock then filter wool/floss

if anyone knows which order i should have these or even if this is the wrong type of media for this filter please let me know as i cant seem to get rid of small particles in the water?

In my 2028 i have the following :

White floss

Middle Tray
White Floss
Bio Balls
White Floss

Bottom Tray
White Floss
Blue Sponge

You can though chance some of the floss for other ceramic media etc...i just do it like that because i get really clear water.

thanks, do you get crystal clear water like that? also what type of white floss do you use? do you get the stuff as a big sheet and cut it to shape?
