hiya here's what i use........(if it's of any use)?!?!?!?!?!

i use premium flake, frozen blood worms, brine shrimp for my angel AND danios they go crazy for it!!!!! - my angel eats from my fingers (it's kewl)!!!

but people with corys tetras and platys - am sure will tell you what they use.

i try to give mine a varied diet not just flake flake flake - we would get bored of the same thing to eat

There really is no way to determine which live food is "best" as it would depend on the fish species and size.

The most common livefood depend on which LFS you visit and other factors but on a whole I would guess it is brine shrimp.

I use a variety of large live foods (not feeder fish though) as I have large predators such as piranhas.

For cory's, black worms and tubifex and favorites. For your platy's brine shrimp, bloodworm, and other small live foods such as daphnia would be fine.

Id say blood worm and brine shrimp are the most common but im not sure what is the best live food universally
