Hi. I have guppies and Molly's platties dwaf gouramis and one Simese fighter oh and neon tetras. I currently have Hagen tropical nutrafin max flakes tho I'd like to change to something better. I want the best food for them I hope u can help. Thanks.

Yep, it is probably the best staple food for most tropical fish. Buying in larger quantities is the best way forward as it stores quite well.

I find my neons struggle with the size of the granules of Prima......but there is a 'mini' version which they love.

that's far too practical, and I don't get to spend more money at the LFS.

The fish love it. I have a hard time sneaking it past the harlequins so the cories get some lol. Think I'm going to try some NLS too.

Tetra Prima :good:

Main staple for my fish too (I use some floating food for my ABF; Leopard Bushfish; Golden Wonder Killifish). There are some serious savings to be made on this product when bought in bulk, I'm half way through a 3Kg tub bought for ~£70 inc. p&p about 18 months ago from Ebay and is still available at the same price. Rather attractive compared to ~£15 for a 300g tub, but not everyone has multiple tanks on the go including batches of youngsters. ;)

If previous posters mean Tetra Prima micro granules, my fish love them. They both float a little and sink slowly eventually arriving at the bottom so all fish get a look-in.

Mine also go completely mad for New Era Tropical Pellets. These sink and they all go down for them and are frantic. Corys hoover up the residue.

im using LOVE food or something atm from P@H. big orange tub it is.

Definately Hikari Microwafers. They are slow sinking and ALL my fish including the tetras, love it! It is kinda pricey though but i guess thats with most Hikari products.

I use a selection of foods, that way they get the best from everything.

Tetra Pleco Multi Wafers
Hikari Algae Wafers
Hikari Sinking Wafers
Aquarian Flake Food
Aquarian Sinking Pellets
Bloodworm
Brine Shrimp
