Hi All,

Been having some problems with my Fluval 305.
I have decided to upgrade. Probably to something equvalent of the FX5. But I have had poor customer service from Fluva/Hagen, so I won't be buying another Fluval.

Can anyone recommend an equivalent of the FX5 in another brand.
What is the best filter? (aside from the FX5 of course).

Thanks
Squidward

Eheim are the mutts nuts but are more expensive, I run a couple of Tetratec filters, they are fine . . . . :good:

I have had a tetratec ex1200 for 18 months, it has loads of design faults which tetra know about and leaks from new. they have sent modified parts to me and it continues to leak. they leak from the air expell pump, the main head seal, the pipe outlet connectors {which have been replaced by modified ones from tetra} and the end stop falls out of the end of the outlet pipe which disables the filter. this filter has destroyed my aquarium cabinet with its constant leaking and tetra are unable to solve it. DO NOT BUY ONE THEY HAVE A VERY POOR QUALITY BUILD, buy a rena xp2 they are getting the best reviews.
