Best Filter For A 6.5 Gallon Tank?

Looking to upgrade the filter in my 5.6 gallon tank from a penn plax small world filter to something pore powerful, any advice? something at a reasonable price, but if it is in-tank, only small. I was thinking a Fluval 1 plus.

leaning more towards the 2 plus now as even thought its a little big, it has 2 sponges so i can change them intermittently.

Alternatively, does anyone know that the sera fil 60 filter is like?
