Ok so my beta fish was thriving for a good 6 months. Suddenly he started to slow down and stay in a corner at the top of the tank all day. Then he started to grow something under his FIN. What is it

If you are talking to me (I deleted my post because I second guessed myself and didn’t want to give you wrong info, so I can’t see my own post, sorry) then I would say after a few minutes? I didn’t monitor him, it was back when I first got him and my weird self thought it was a food pellet that got stuck... if it is poop, I would say it should only take a little while.

Thanks about Aztec’s name, I started naming my newest fish in a space theme, he’s the only one without one.
