There is glue you can buy , but I have never used it. However, the background won't stick on well and will become lighter, but when water gets between the glass and the background it will become more vibrant.

You can see in this video what I was talking about

*By the way, you just use tape to stick on the background!

You should be able to drag it out with a bit of help from someone so do it along with a 50% water change.
