Just after views and opinions of my tank setup;

This was what it looked like a few days ago;

a couple of new additions;

Getting more gravel tomorrow so the plants can be rooted deeper, and possibly a new larger filter too but not soo sure about that yet.

Looking really good!! I like the "bushy" plant in the middle. Dont know the name of it but i have one of those too and its doing really well! :good:

Looks like "cabomba", spelling way off but I think that's how it's pronounced..
Lovely tank by the way, endlers are nice too :good:

1st pic looked nice anyway but re-scape is a big improvement. looks really nice :good:

the bushy plant in the middle is indeed a cabomba, and my favourite too! but if you get it, just be aware of it dying if you cut it down as it causes havoc when it all falls apart!

i agree, the first pic was ok, but i feel like i have completely transformed it now and am so happy with it!

thanks to the great comments!

I really like the change in substrate. The black and white thing is so harsh and distracting and I don't think it would do much to highlight your fish... and plants for that matter. Switching over really makes a great improvement.
:good:

I have that Cabomba plant and the earlier poster (forgot name...) is right. When it falls apart you get branches everywhere! The filter sorts it out, but does require constant cleaning out!

Only think i'd say is couldnt you do a deeper substrate? Looks quite low, not sure but will you have any problems with rooting your plants with it being so shallow?

Substrates should be about 2" deep for plants to root healthy.

I agree with that plant,it's brilliant but does fall apart easy at times, grows very quickly too but I love it in my tanks.
