Any suggestions what kind of fighter fish i should get? The guy said if i find any one on the internet i like and get the name he'll order it in for me :)

also is there any particular ones i should avoid?

If your signature stock list is current, there probably would be problems. Anabantoides are generally best not mixed with other Anabantoides, sharks are aggressive, angels can take a liking to Betta tails. The crabs *may* be able to catch slow Bettas.

Did your LFS advise you on the rest of the stocking too?

Yeah well they didn't say it was bad.

Why? is it terrible?

It's nothing that can't be fixed:
Common plecos can grow up to 2 ft long, depending on species. You should try to get yours IDed or find the ID yourself. The larger species should have at least a 6*2*2 ft tank, but the smaller ones (which grow up to around 1 ft) would be fine in a tank which has a 4*2 ft footprint.
Red-tailed black sharks become very aggressive with age, so watch that one closely.
It's better to keep 6+ angels, but if you can't have 6, then 1 or a breeding pair will do. What often happens if 3-5 angels are kept together is that two will pair up and beat the crap out of the rest or 1 will abuse the rest (even if only two which are not a pair are kept together). It's usually fine to try 6 angels in anything starting from 4 ft long, but it's not a good idea in shorter tanks.
If any of the fish become ill, they will be at risk from the crabs. Even now, the crabs may be able to have a go at the fish, especially at the pleco and shark.

Thanks, think i may give away the koi angelfish if i see fighting.

Looks like i'll be very careful watching any aggression in the tank, thanks for the heads up :)

Not with your stocking no.

When you see bullying, you won't be able to chose which angel you need to give away, it will have to be the bully or the one which is not in the pair (if they pair up). No problem, good luck

I can't see your signature (have them switched off), but if you have red clawed crabs then you should look to rehome them immediately. They are land crabs, primarily, and need access to 'land'. They will not do well being submerged 100% of the time. Also, they need brackish water.

The biggest risk any crab poses is at night when the fish are resting. If they stray to near the crabs then SNAP and you have an injured or dead fish.
