They only have about 4 baths a year, cuz they can go inside and outside as they please(will some restrictions). They take it pretty well and they become very affectionate once they are dry. Also can anyone suggest a good shampoo, the stuff I use works. Yet, I had other kind that would make them smell like flowers for days, but I through out the bottle and can't find it anywhere . Any suggestion? (they probably won't get another bath until spring)

thanks,

damn, never seen anyone voluntarily wash a cat  that's something I had to do once when Ziggy got covered in oil.

I still have the scar.

cute photos but do you actually need to wash cats? i've only ever wash a cat once( he slept under a car ) and i needed 3 people. 1 to wash, 1 to told him down and 1 to hold his mouth from biting

I'm am actually surprised at how many people don't wash their cats. Just because they don't like water doesn't mean they don't need baths :) . They don't seem to mind too much, but they both have been getting baths since they were kittens. So they sorta get use to it, they only get really upset when I first put them in and when I take them out. Once they are all wet they calm down. I brush them for about a hour before hand, so the drain doesn't get clogged  . They also get their claws trimmed with finger nail clippers. It only takes one person to wash ours and they normally don't get scratched, but it kills your back :( . Then they get wrapped in two towels for about a minuet and then blow dried on low with warm/cool air until they are mostly dry. And for some reason after their baths they won't leave you for about a week.

Cheers,

I agree with the washing cats thing. I think that is would help them stay healthy. :D Just wondering what happened to your orange cat's leg? In the first pic it looks like she/he is bleeding on its leg.
Congrats on managing to wash them :D
