Banjo catfish

Hi...I recently was deciding to get a banjo catfish or not. I saw one I like but I heard they eat live shrimp and snails. My tank has 1 small snail and an adult mystery snail. Plus I have like 7 swimable baby shrimp. I have a couple of hiding spots. But the question was...is the banjo catfish gonna eat my snails or the shrimps? Its a 20g fish tank

Banjo catfish will eat anything that fits in their mouth. They are also nocturnal and hunt at night so small fish and shrimp will be eaten if the catfish finds them. They don't normally eat snails tho because the snails don't feel like food.

Thnkz for answering and thnkz for the info, but do you think if I have things for the shrimp to hide...they might be safe?

I wouldn't keep shrimp or small fish in a tank with a Banjo catfish regardless of how many hiding places are in the tank.

Banjo catfish are hard to keep period.
