Banjo cat tankmates

Well, my little banjo cat is only 1/2 inch currently and in my 10G QT but eventually I am going to set him up in my 35G. I'd like some other interesting tankmates but most of my experience has been with "mainstream" fish. Does anyone have any suggestions for compatibility and offbeatedness?

Oddballs? Peacock gudgeons, other small gudgeons and FW gobies, and badis species would do great with a banjo, I'm not too sure how those catfish get so I won't suggest any of the larger oddballs

Two Dwarf Puffers, as long as there's caves or plants (real or fake) and decent filtration.

As long as there's sand in the tank so that the Banjo can bury hinself, then the puffers will leave him alone.

try a butterfly fish, at least these guys wouldnt upset the banjo even a smidgeon (wonder if thats how your meant to spell "smidgeon"?)
