One of my all time favorites. I had a trio in my 240 eons ago. They never caused trouble but even large Cichlids left them alone. They would be for sure in any future monster aquarium I should get.
The nicest public aquarium display of them had a few that were about 16" with Oscars about the same size and with big bulgy eyes. With Silver Dollars and Red hooks. All the interest and color you could hope for.
