Bananas are a stable in the beefheart mixed that most discus people feed. They have lots of good stuff in them and all fish seem to love them.

Beef Heart u can feed that to fishes????

to much information in one day my brain cant handle it anymore

lol

Fish looove beef heart  A lot of betta breeders run it through a processor and feed it to their juvies and adults. I've personally never tried it on bettas but I know they would love it. As well as all of your other fish.
I *did* keep a male in a community a couple years back and he would have a hayday when I fed beefheart.

ive fed it to my oscar as an experiment i fed it to him for 1 month cuz i heard it hightens color an his color was noticibly brighter. i think i might try it again with all my fish. make them suckers STRONG :flex:

I know my oscar likes bananas, but I never thought to feed it to my bettas! I'll have to try that. I imagine they like the sugar in it... my oscar loves basically any fruit

tried the banana in all of my tanks this weekend...the bettas were a little confused by it i think - only tried it and left it - but the snails loved it! the rest of my fish (especially gouramis and rainbows) went NUTS! good tip wuv
