Have we got any bala shark experts?
Mine have recently (a month or so) started "dancing" with each other, they will mirror and mimic the other in perfect synchronisation for about 20 minutes at a time, then they go about their business being bala sharks.
I've always had a pair and they have always been virtually glued to each other, but this is different, they twirl and change direction, both go up, both go down, all in a few inches of space, so it's not like flight behaviour when they are panicked, they are not darting off round the tank together, they almost look like they are playing.
I was just wondering why they were doing it, presumably it's just ordinary behaviour, but there's usually a reason for any behaviour.
