what is your tapwater ph after being stood for 24 hours or after dechlorination?

Straight out of the tap it is 7.6, after dechlorination it is 7.2-7.6

Everyone has a different Ph for there tap water, some have lower others have higher

base level ph for an empty tank is 7.2, you have experienced ph 6 with your bogwood in the tank..... hmmmm would have thought ph 6.5-6.8 really but not impossible.
you are boiling the taninin out of the bogwood. what else is in there that may effect the ph?
i wouldnt worry about the fluctuating ph on the cycle, it wont make much of a difference.
drop in some coral gravel or a bit of tuffa rock to stablise the levels and see how you get on

I removed the bog wood and everything is fine now. pH is stable at 7.2-7.6. My cycle finished almost a week ago, thats why I was so worried.
