Bad News!!

I got my tank on friday and was really excited about it. Today i got some gravel from Home Depot and some big rocks to put in there from my friend. I rinsed out the tank with hot water and was about to put in the gravel when I saw a 1 1/2 inch crack coming down from one of the edges. I was so pissed off i started yelling lol. I called the owner of the store I bought it from and he said he was sorry for selling a faulty product and he said he would give me something free! This has got me a little discouraged but i plan on taking the tank back tommorrow and getting the replacement and the free thing they said they would give me.

Yeah im relieved I didnt have fish either. Im also relieved i ran out of money after buying gravel becuase i was gonna buy some live plants to put in there to lol.

Well the place i got the tank from has a great selection of hardware and freshwater fish but has no live plants. I think im gonna ask for a free water testing kit but the guy will prob just hand me something and say "theres something free". BTW smb i love the sig!

Well the tank came with a kit and i already have a hood w/ light, filter, heater, thermometer, and water conditioner. I think ill prob ask for testing supplies or some cool fish.

Good cheirodon! I got a 20 lb bag of lanscaping gravel it was real fine and will be great to use with my plants.

Anyone got any ideas of plants or other decorations that would be good for tetras and panda corys?

Why did the tank crack anyways? From the hot water? I heard that can crack a tank. Anyways, congrats on getting free stuff.

I believe it was cracked when I first bought it. When I brought it home I handled it with great care so i know it didnt get cracked then. When cleaned it out it was with cold water and I also know it didnt get cracked then. As for the free stuff im excited as to see what I get.
