so I was holding my baby so she could watch the fish eat. As I was shaking the flakes in the whole dam thing fell in the tank I tried to grab it but it when under the hood so I had to move that. Grrr what a wast of food. This is not the first time food got wasted.

My stinking little dog has eaten 3 bags of cichlid pelets and yes algea waffers. Oh and one time fish flakes. Yes I feed my dogs but this little pom mix is a pig.

Any other people have weird issues like this?

Your dos...lol!

Not really, my girlfriend dropped the flake container one time and spilled the flakes everywhere, that's about it.

Hmm lets see....

I've done exactly the same thing you did. Well.. I wasn't holding anything at the time, so can only blame my own clumsiness heh.
I've also accidently spilled a brand new container of flake food everywhere... twice. My dogs LOVED that.
Had one of my dogs eat a brand new bag of betta pellets... twice.
My dogs have also gotten hold of a bag of algae wafers as well.
If my cat is around, he'll actually beg for an algae wafer :p

And yeah.. I know there will be more incidents such as those for as long as I keep fish hehe

First rule of feeding freom a tub of flakes: NEVER EVER EVER hold the tub over the tank or tip directly from the tub into the tank..............Its only after you've done it that it becomes obvious not to do this!

Didn't replace the lid properly on the nearly-full flake pot and stupidly left it on top of the cupboard. Came down in the morning, innocent-looking cats (always a bad sign), empty pot on the floor, bits of flake stuck all over the carpet where it had been licked (yeuch!)

Of course, now we're very careful about replacing lids and putting everything inside the cupboard with the door shut - as smbgpd says, you only learn after making the mistake!

Cats and dogs love fish food!

I've known one human who ate a whole pot of tropical fish flakes, and another who ate several freeze-dried tubifex cubes . . . . both were OK afterwards.

Although, please note, I DON'T recommend eating your fish food!

What people eating fish food. How wasted were they?

I thought my dog was just a freak algae waffers really?? I have spent so much on fish food because of my little brat dog.

Yeah stinking the nice way to put it. Sometimes I use it like this " What a stinking jerk that guy was". Feel free to use it.

When i had Orandas, i went through a faze where i was buying a pot of fishfood a week because no matter where i put it, the dog always manged to get at it.

She's ate a pot of tropical food and now i just lock my bedroom door. It gets expensive after a while when you have to keep buying fishfood.

Also when i had my Orandas, my neighbour thought he was being helpful by putting half a pot of fishfood in "because they looked like they ate a lot" while i was on holiday, even after my instructions of how much to feed.

I'd say it's not that strange actually... As most fish food is made from fish, no?

Dogs and cats (cats more so) eat fish... Kind of makes sense once you think about it.

Haha,

My worst accident so far is i spilt a whole bottle of aqua+ down myself while in the middle of a water change, thrown the water away... Hadn't added any more in.

I had to lower my filter so the media was submerged and go to the pet shop leaving my tank half empty (or half full).

Your dog doesn't look like this does it?
