Allright lads;

The other day I was in P&H buying food for my fish; decided to get bloodworms from there (for the 1st time). Anyways the journey home took so long that I think the food was kinda melted by the time I got them in the freezer.

Anyways, I just took a few out of the freezer there to give to my fish and they looked fine, but they had the strangest smell coming off them; it wasn't good but it wasn't horrible either.

I'm not sure whether they had gone off or it was just from the new product; either way the fish seem to have liked it! I should add that they didn't seem out of colour or different in texture, just that strong smell (which was strong as hell, but only when I held the food upto my nose if you get me).

This is my question; do you reckon I should keep feeding them to my fish, or should I go ahead and bin them?

I too have purchased some Blood worms from P&H, mine smelt really wierd but I guessed it was just normal. I used to feed my fish mine with a tweezers( up close and personal) and they never seemed to mind.

Happened to me too, melted then frozen then a bit 'tangy' smelling. They get fed them anyway, they eat them, no ill effects.

Every bloodworm cube I've used smells like cr.ap, so I wouldn't be worried about it, haha
