Bacteria Question?

hi i was wondering if my tank has been running for 6 months and i moved some fish to another tank would the bacteria levels fall? and would i need to be carefull of adding new fish because of the levels of bacteria?

so say i moved four fish from the tank leaving four in the tank for about a week would the bacteria levels fall?

Yes it would depend on how long you let the void go. With out food some bacteria would die off. And if you add to many fish at once the bacteria would have to play catch-up.

But a week, not sure, I would not believe so.
