Glad to help....buy the biggest bottle you can find....I use it to clean everything from old tanks to powerheads, skimmers, etc. It works quite well.

Obviously, it goes without saying that you want to make sure you rinse everything well after using it.

I had a mare painting my tank this time so I picked up some of the liquid sea vue I think and put on a metalic blue backdrop on looks ace apart from the odd bubble

I wil be filling it up to check for leaks and pos leave a day or 2. Hopefully will help make sure its clean

I also used ronseal tile paint. I tried to use a black gloss but it all peeled of in one go. The tile paint stuck really well.

I went blue the first time and black this time. If I could do it again I would probably go for blue although I am happy with the black.

Its hard as you wont know until the tank is stocked with corals and fish. Best thing to do it look at other peoples tank and see which on you prefer.
