Baby Guppies

In my daughters tank, we have started to get some (only a dozen at the moment) baby guppies.

Can i use them (without telling my daughter!) as live food for my other fish?

Please - no animal rights comments - its nature!?

yeah sure, just tell them they died. it happens all the time
