I have got 36 new born guppies?.
They were born last night and they all seem fine apart from one of them which is so small i cant really see if it is white spot of if he is just swimming weird because they swim normal when they dont have white spot or he could be a deformed guppy which is quite common?
What do you think it is or any thing you could tell me to do????

I'd just leave them be to begin with. Keep the feeding regular but in small doses and keep a close eye on them :)

hey peoples

my molly had babies about 3 weeks ago and i think one is deformed or he got crushed because he has a hard time swimming and his tail is bent. But he is one of the bigger guys so i know he eats alot and he is healthy and stuff just can't swim very good. they all have fins with white rims it is wierd.

Guppy mad are you keeping them in a breeding net or another tank? If your keeping them in another tank keep an eye on the ammonia/nitrite levels they increase dramatically with fry. Add some of the water from your tank if its the case (especially near the filter) ;)

Well i have to tanks my big tank and my little 5 gallon tank i have got 88 babies altogeher and i put so many in the little tankl at a time and i do keep an eye out for the nitrates etc and make sure it is all ok. Also i catch as many as i9 can and keep them in anet until they get older and can go in the little tank.

dude, even 10 fry is too many for a 5 gallon tank. The fry will grow much faster and to a much bigger avergage size in a larger tank, for 88 fry you're going to need a few 20 gallon tanks for growing them up. Seperate the males and females as soon as you can tell which are which as they'll grow faster this way.
