Oh yeah, livebearers can selectively incubate their fertilized eggs, right?
So that guppies, mollies, platies, and swordtails can stagger births every few days, or even release fry from the same fertilization a month or more apart?
I'm relatively new to tropical fish (and have never chatted before! - so sorry if I mess up the etiquette).
I presently live as an expat in China. Can someone tell me the name of the fish on the top left hand corner of Fish Gurus post. I have two of them (inherited from an expat who left China a year ago) and I'd like to learn more about them.
Thanks
Onyx
The fish in my avi Is a Glo-Fish (transgenic brchidanio riaro) the silver fish is a silver dollar. Live bearers drop fry with in a window of 1-2 days and have a window ever month they also can hold sperm for 2 months (so as to squeez off 3 batches a month apart)
