Fish Crazy
I have 2 baby Koi angelfish in a ten gallon tank (as a growout until I get a 20 gal.)...
One angel (Emmy) is a food HOG and the other angel (Oscar) is not. When I feed them, Emmy gobbles up all the food (which is enough food for 2 fish) and doesn't leave any for Oscar. Emmy is growing at a faster rate than Oscar and I'm assuming it's because she's getting all the food. Poor Oscar is obviously thinner than Emmy and I don't know what to do to get him to eat the food faster (before Emmy gobbles it all).
I thought about getting a tank divider for the 10 gallon, but I'm not sure about that. I think even when I put them in the 20 gallon, we'll still have the same problem....Emmy purposely grabs the food almost out of Oscar's mouth.
What do you think I should do? Now, I have to feed them just enough for 1 fish because Emmy's belly was getting HUGE from eating 2 portions of food. I feel like I'm leaving poor Oscar out in the cold but I can't let Emmy eat herself to death.
FYI--their both around nickle size.
Help please.
