I have seven BN Albino Plecos, last night I disturbed the tank as I got woken up (long story) anyway I disturbed one of my Males, dame he was big, always in hiding, mush have been about 5" and chunky with it.

Well cut a long story short, messing around with my CO2 etc today and on my Anabus plant was a baby BN Albino Pleco, he is moving all round the glass and wood so very active. I've had all mine since Fry, this one is about 6-8mm, sure there must be more in the tank.

Here is a very blur photo of him, I am struggling with photos:

Thanks,

I probably have had in the past from these but I have had them with large fish so probably got eaten. I have past on almost all my large fish and that is probably why its popped up. Aiming for a nice semi comunity tank.

I have found a few more babies BUT there all guarded with Dad in the most awkward place ever, top of the Bog Wood in a hole not far from the water line, Ahhh made my water changes today a pain. Had to do 20L at a time, two out two in.....

Are Albino BN Pleco quite sort after, I have never seen them in my LFS, if they survive then will be looking maybe to trade with my LFS.

Sadly they never survived, I netted 8 but after a night they one by one died, there were a few in the tank but they all vanished aswell.

The ones I put in the breading trap went a little fuzzy, like a light cotton wool covering. Did feed a little Baby Fish protein food and some Blood worms.

Still could do with a little advice, my one Female has got a large belly and is close to where the babies once were in the log, there is a Male in the log.

Is she ready to lay eggs again, what advice can people give me.

Here she was an hour ago:

Here she is now near the Log:

Well she has been there for about two hours now, think she is waiting to go into the log but the male is still in there.

Does it look like she is carrying eggs?

Sorry to hear about the fry :(..... that is one big fat female lol.. yes it could quite possibly be eggs, ive had some huge females that look like ping pong balls lol. Just incase, just be vigilant.. could be constipation but the likelihood of eggs is far higher if you've already found fry in the tank. Waiting outside is usually a sure thing when eggs are imminent :)... I'm sure the male will have her trapped very soon :)... Good luck.
