Today, I was looking at my Gouramis from the top instead of the side. I discovered something thats looks like bubbles.bubblenest like gouramis, but the bubbles are bery small. the bubbles I found are on the top(obvisouly) surrounding the filter I have.I cant tell if the bubbles are regular air bubbles or soon to be Gouramis. I cant really tell which gourami is male or female. I have a gold and a three spotted.also, the bubbles i witnessed dont really move, they are sort of stuck together and are pretty small. so is there any other way I can find out that the bubbles will be gouarmis soon or are they just air bubbles?

Hi Vince,

Take a look at the post futher down called "does anyone know what a baby gourami looks like". I don't think the gourami you have can crossbreed if you only have one of each but males sometimes build nests when they live alone.

Hope this helps

Emma

What type of gourami do you have? I believe that the larger types also use plant matter in their nests.
