And here is the result.

looks very nice

hey

she is pushing around 6-7 inches at the moment, im moving her to a much bigger tank soon. Can't wait :)

Rescaped you say? How long previous to that had you been keeping plants in there?

Andy

The plants have been in there awhile, i just trimed them a little and moved themm around, and added that piece of mopani wood, there used to be a horrible plastic tree root there.

Cool. Mopani not leaking tannins then? You're lucky, my manky snail infested lump took months to settle down!

GL with your set up, real plants cannot be beaten IMHO and there's nothing better for them thar fishies :good:

Andy

No tannins as of yet, but i'm expecting them :p
The plants were all pearling after yesterdays Water change. It was so cool, shame my camera couldnt pick it up.

Perling! How much lighting do you have in there?!? I'd probably hazard a guess that the 'perling' was just trapped air bubbles from the waterchange perhaps?

yeah im setting up a 4ftx18"W tank for her soon, not sure how to scape it though. Probably similiar to how this tank is.
Not sure B-)

Cool, there are some truely awesome setups there. The king of so-called EI tanks, a technique that most people with $$$ follow to create these great looking tanks is an American chap called Tom Barr (We are not worthy... we are worms! ).

Yep, found a piccy of my crummy 60L set up...
