So the argument was, L199 or something else, but people got tired of the thread and my rubbish pics!
So here is the best pic I can take, it shows his colours and markings really well this time
Some people say L129 or maybe L270 I don't think so what does everyone think now?

Could be an L333 or a nicely coloured L340...

I have an L270 which i know is an L270 for certain and its coloured almost the exact same as that. Most of my L270's are different though.

the striped hypan♦... are very hard to tell apart because of the variation in patterns. If you can get a pic with fins erect & dentition there is a better chance of correct ID

How big is the actual fish TL?, looks only to be around 1.5-2 inch from the photo. If it is young as in measurements said, it could basically be anything as far as hypans are involved.

L15 was my first thought, but there are a lot of similar looking Hypancistrus as said above...
