Avoiding Cross Breeding

Hi I have a breeding group of Sterbai which I have temporarily housed with a mixed sex group of Robinae. I've noticed that the Robinae seem to be much more relaxed for some reason and are very active, as I am trying to spawn the Robinae I was wondering if it would be ok to keep both groups together but I am very anxious to avoid cross breeding.

corys dont cross breed as far as i know so you should be ok

Don't count on that, but if they have their own kind they will stick to them, from what I've heard.
