Average Electricity Cost To Run My Tanks

im just wondering the cost to run my 3 tanks 1x30gallon tank with 100w heater fluval 105 external filter and 20w lighting 1 x15 gallon tank with 50w heater fluval 2plus filter and 20w lighting 1x 5 gallon tank with75w heater (all i had) and small sponge filter ran off standard air pump

please could you work this out lights are on for 12 hours daily im not that good at maths

uk prices average??

house temp is average so heaters do here job

12 hrs a day for lighting seems a lot i think most people run them for about 8 hours
 
We haven't done the math, but since we've started keeping fish again our electric bill has taken a big jump. Probably doesn't help that we have two 55-gallons, one 30-gallon, one 20-gallon, one 15-gallon and a 5-gallon hospital tank.

ok thanks i worked my tanks out at £14 pound quarterly average but im dreading my new electric bill lol
 
i just saw a smart phone app advertised in the redfish e-magazine for doing this its called reefelec
 
Ah just had fun with that :D

My three tanks combined use £0.13/day

Thats pretty economical!

A cost of £47 a year :D
