Attack!

I don't know the size but its a aqua one 620. I've got 10 guppies, 6corys, normal pleco and 2 angelfish. I dont know if this helps but I currently lost my measuring tape

this tank then?

that tank is too small for a pair of angels, and actually too small for one really. You need to rehomke your fish. There is no other 'fix' that can be offered.

Yup, that is the tank :'( what is the minimum size?

For a single angel - 3ft wide and an 18inch tall water column (not including the substrate)

To keep multiples (and as KK said, you should not keep 2 on their own), then you'll need an even longer tank.

Do not get a rainbow shark. Your angels will be less happy than they are now.

My uncle has a rainbow in with his angels for this same reason and it worked, they don't bother each other at all but the angels have stopped fighting. The rainbow stays on the bottom and the angels don't go to the bottom and never did anyway.

***Edit***

His is a a tall 350l tank and is with 6 angels (2 males and 4 females) males were attacking the rainbow shark was introduced no problems that was 3 years ago, the rainbow shark did however attack the killifish but he took them out, so I guess it does depend on anything else you have in the tank.

Good news people, I've been watching them for 4hours solid and the more agressive one only nipped him once and they seem to be spending a lot of time together.

it will not occur continuously - and you still need to look to rehome at least one of them.

Yes, the 620 is a nice tank, but it is not anywhere near enough for angels. I recommend 6*2*2 ft for a group of 10+ or at least a 4*2*2 ft for 6+.

Personally, having kept angels before, I would never keep an individual on its own.

I had a similar problem with my angels, I had four. You can try moving around the ornaments and plants to change territories but that only worked for a couple of months.
Mine did the same thing he would beat up my one angel and she would just follow him around stupidly. To this day I think they were all trying to pair up and never figured out how

I'm might getting a new tank this week, so which is more important length or height?

Both, but you must make sure it's tall enough as most 'standard' most tanks are only 12 or 15 tall.

You want a minimum of four foot long and 18" tall, IMO.

Both are equally important until the tank is 4 ft long by 2 ft tall, after that, length is more important.
