Attaching Backgrounds

I've tried cellotape and the results aren't exactly fantastic!

I plan to fill the tank tomorrow to test out the plumbing, so any advice would be appreciated.

Vaseline. Several posts in that thread. If you search, you'll find other threads with the same improbable sounding, but apparently quite sound advice.

I always paint mine.

I bought this rock effect backgrounf for the last tank I set up, it silicons to the back of the tank and I have to say it was well worth the money and I'll be using it for every tank I do from now on.

I used vaseline and a black binbag, it gave it that stone look and looks great and is so easy and fast to do.
