AT LAST GUPPY BABIES

Eventually my guppies have delivered. I found nine babies in the trap and tonight at least five more.

I have just upgraded to a bigger tank so i will be keepng these and let the females out now to carry on as they do!!!!

Really chuffed and also bit embarassed that something like this has made my day!!!!

Congrats on breeding them I felt like that when my Platie breeded for the first time in my community tank, the fry she had are now growing up, they survied in my community tank She recently gave birth to a second batch. Do you plan to keep all your fry?

Yes will be keeping these fry as i hav loads of room now. Have just got my friend started ith my old 2 foot tank so I could give som to her. I am so tempted to put the other pregnant ones in the trap to get more babies but feel i could get carried away Tee HEE

....... that's one of the joys of having fish.......I've had guppies for about 5 yrs now and still get a kick when new ones are being born and love to watch them grow and develop their colours

waht are your water conditions? temp, how big was hte tank, how many males/females?

I have them in a 3ft tank which is quite well stocked. It has been running at 27 degrees. must be just lucky as I didn't alter anything to try and get some fry.

All babies are growing well but have moved pregnant females out of the trap as i think these are enough fry for the time been !!!!
