Hello!

I'm getting a bit tired of looking at billions of MTS now... Would an assassin keep them in check?

Oh but, I have three nerites, will they be left alone?

Ta, mb

They will definitely help with the population, but manually removing them would get results more quickly.

Yes, they will attack and kill Nerite snails. There aren’t many cases of a single assassin snail killing a nerite, but they tend to gang up when it’s a bigger target.

I think I'd only get the one assassin.. just enough to take the edge of the gazillion and one MTS. Although then I'd just end up with a carpet of MTS shells... hopefully one assassin wouldn't take out the nerites?
Had some assassins a while ago but didn't have either MTS or nerites back then. You might be right.. perhaps I should move my lazy backside and remove them myself

Usually one assassin snail isn’t big enough to take down a full grown nerite, but it still can happen. Personally I wouldn’t risk it, but it’s up to you.

I used to have a big snail problem in my tanks, and manually removing as many as I could seemed to do the trick.

I personally have never had nerites, but I currently have 3 assassins, and they have killed off all the baby rams horns. However, they left the big rams horn alone for quite some time, and it wasn't even that big. So I would think that the neuritis should be fine, but be aware that the assassins will breed, and there will be babies. However, the parents will eat the babies, so you shouldn't be too worried about that.

Is that one assassin, sort of like 007 (James Bond) if you are going to do that get Sean Connery, he was the best
