Hi All

I was just wondering whether anyone has had any experience with either Aspidoras maculosus and CORYDORAS SP. NEON ORANGE

I have been looking through various sites for information, which has been reasonably ok but was wondering whether anyone has had any experiences with them. Also how much should they be?

Thanks

When you say "CORYDORAS SP. NEON ORANGE" are you talking about Corydoras sp. cf. aeneus(orange_stripe)?

http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/speci...?species_id=265

If you are, then they are a great cory and are reasonably easy to look after. They have basically the same needs as a Bronze C. aeneus. As for price, that varies on where you get them. I think I payed $6 US dollars for mine plus shipping.

I am not sure whether its the Corydoras sp. cf. aeneus(orange_stripe)? I am only assuming it is just because I cannot find anything else that maybe it. I was told that it was a new wild species. So who knows, will have to have another look now that I have seen the Corydoras sp. cf. aeneus(orange_stripe)?

Does anyone know anything about the Aspidoras maculosus

Thanks
Dave

I am assuming if these are new species, then you are looking at fish on the internet not in your lfs. If that is true, then are you looking at fish from a catalog supplier (like Drsfosterandsmith.com) or are you looking st fish from an independent supplier like those on Aquabid? If it is an independent supplier, they should be able to tell you lots about the fish. The advantage of AB is that the sellers get feedback, so you can judge if they are trusted and experienced. I always take advise from my suppliers. Having trusted suppliers is a major advantage. I expect my supplier to tell me about the fish, and I get recommendations about their needs and which other fish they do well with.
