Considering adding some Asian watermoss, a floater… a few bits into my Asian tank, which has a lot of water moving… I think I can plant dam a section to make a small space of calm water… anyone played with this??? I’m assuming its care would be similar to most other floating plants ???

it is a variety of Salvinia. It is a common aquarium floating plant. It all 14 nutrients plant need are pressent it will grow and look like the picture you posted. if the leaves are yellowish or have holes in the tank you have a nutrient issue. I had them in my tank. water spray, humidity and water flow doesn't harm them. Will even survive extened periods fully submerged. tolerates low and high light levels well and it absorbs CO2 directly from the air.
