[background=rgb(250, 246, 237)]I am looking for a species from asia that doesn't grow to big and will get ride of the build up of algae on the glass. It's a fluval roma 125 holding 125 litres. In the tank is 8 sparkling gourami's, 6 chocolate gourami's, 12 Hengeli Rasbora's, 10 Kuhli loaches, 4 platies, 1 assassin snail, unknown amount of cherry shrimp.[/background]

Not really the answer I was expecting, I know what you mean but I would like a type of fish. And I forget to add that there are plants that I wouldn't want them to destroy.

sorry couldn't resist s.a.e. would be fine 5 or 6 would be nice.

Hi

I got 4 s.a.e's this weekend and have to say they are great little fish very good at taking care of any algee that i have just hope i have enough for them or i will have to feed the algee tabs great little fish though.

Just one thing to say i read that that grow to a fair size so make sure you have room for them.

I have got two sae - they are now 6" long and about 1" wide! They are NOT little fish and now they are adult mine don't even eat any algae. Although they are not agressive, don't eat plants and are good looking fish, they do make up a lot of the bioload in my tank.
