Congratulations Dave on a beautiful tank and some fantastic photography.

Personally, I find it difficult to combine a rock and wood hardscape together, but you have done a great job. Your tank gives me the impression of a Tarantula emerging from its den.

Good job David, I think this year's contest was very fair in the rankings.
That means you did very well against good entries.

The smaller rocks made the larger stones transition well to the lighter colored sand.
Getting the right color and size of aesthetic sand can be tough.

Still, it does remind me a bit of several scenes from a natural system.

Now..........you have to out do yourself next year
Good photos make a huge difference.
