Fish Gatherer
Hi All,
Now this common fresh water louse is easy to find, and I've encountered it in ponds/lakes/rivers/streams etc. all over the UK.
Its a great little detritivore and harmless to everything excluding fish eggs.
However, while I am considering adding some to our laboratory tank (after plants are in place), and i know they can tolerate 'tropical' temperatures for short periods, I don't know about their long term survivability in a tropical tank...
Have any of you kept Asellus sp. in an aquarium?
Thanks.
---edit---Bah sorry the editor won't let me correct the title and remove the incorrect capital letter
