I just came home to find my pond completely drained. Some genius thought it would be a good prank to unplug my UV last night and just let my pond drain. All of my fish were sitting in 1" of water gasping for air. I managed to scoop up all of my fish and put them in a 50g tub in the basement until I get everything figured out. Stupid kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm putting my game camera up next to the pond so I can catch those little Sh*ts on camera if they come back!

id probably be in the window with a paintball gun
and some food colouring balloons so that i could catch them the next day

fit a float switch got one fitted to mine just in case it springs a leak in the pipe work
the float switch will knock of the pump once the water gets below a set level
you will need
waterproof junction box (preferably ip44 rated or higher)
terminal blocks (5amp rated atleast).
float switch (obviously)
this is my float switch its anchored to the pipe about 3 inches below the surface of the water so the float switch is just on the surface

it hides just under the edgers
