Arrowana

Is it possible? yes

Should it be done? Probably not

Arowanas all have one thing in common, they get BIG. Both of the south American species (silver and black/blue) will reach around 30 inches in captivity and really require a tank of at least 8 feet long and 2 and half feet wide when full grown, they also grow extreemly fast easily reaching 2 feet within their first year so it doent give much time to upgrade.

The Asian and Australian arowanas stay smaller but still reach around 20 to 24 inches, they also have much larger scales which makes them more inflexible than the south Americans so they need more room to turn around, the minimum you could comfortably keep one of these in would be a 6x2x2 but again the 30" width is prefferable.
