What is a reasonable tank size if considering an Arrowanna? Not the Minimum because I don't think the tanks at the pet store are always big enough. Just A good size tank.

Well if you realize that the small ones alone can grow up to about 4 feet....I don't really think there would be a tank size big enough. But realistically I would not attempt one without a BARE minimum of 125 gallons. Even with a 125 gallon tank the fish will not grow to full size IMO. But if I had the choice I would want atleast 200 and preferably a 300 gallon tank

I have one which is 14" in a 200g tank and it will not be able to spend the whole of its life in there! For keeping a fish that when adult can be 48" long and 10" deep across the body you need to be concidering a tank of at least 350 gallons within the next 3 years and a starter tank of at least 150 gallons.

Thanks that will be something I will have to think about for the future.
