I have just acquired a silver aro fry...from the looks of it, it had just lost its sac. I was wondering what is the best feed for them, something that can bring out its full color potential.

Live brine shrimp and blood worms... be very careful, as when they're still babbies, arowanas are EXTREMLY delicate and can die on you very easily :( Try the bring shrimps and blood worms, if you can get your hands on live then try some frozen, dethaw them in a cup and use a syringe to feed the arowana, put the syringe right next to it's mouth if it won't eat it free swimingly

The ones we get at my store we feed freeze-dried plankton. It floats, so it's in the natural feeding zone, and it smells strongly enough that it triggers a feeding response in even small, just off their sac, fish. Be careful not to give them too large of pieces they could choke on, though.

Thanks for the info. I'm currently giving it frozen plankton. The fry seems to also be feeding on the baby cichlid pellets I've been giving it.
