Arnie's 100L Planted Tank

The plant latched onto the mopani is a java fern in bad condition.

The other was part of a set from ebay seller, most of them I binned as they were in bad condition, im also not sure if this plant is aquatic

the taller looking one at the center back is supposed to be an amazon sword or something like that?

Thanks, there's still work that needs to be done!

Added some Indian Almond leaf today.

I think my Betta is a plakat not a Veiltail

Can I just say, Arnie, what a really great job you've done with that Betta; he looks absolutely fantastic now compared to when you got him.

All kudos to you :good:

These new plants I bought are dieing, i guess theres not enough ferts from the fish to support the plants. Im not dosing anything either

How can I save them?

ive decided to make my own CO2 using yeast, luckily i had everything except for a diffuser.

I used 300g of sugar and 1 tbs of dried yeast, getting 6-10 bubbles per second

are your plants still wrapped up in the wool stuff and the lead weights? for the little amount of plants and the types you have i don't think CO2 is neccessary. Have you thought about liquid carbon?

nope never heard of that.

Im trying to build up the plants but they die.

and I heard yeast co2 is cheaper than seachem

it is cheaper in a sense, but it sometimes causes more problems and needs you to have the time every 3 days or what ever to change bottles. You should look in to ferts, get those weights off the stems and plant them aswell
