went down to our pond this morning and alot of goldfish were in the shallowest area chasing a bigger one..i picked up a pot that was in the pond and it had a clear thing(about the size of on pin head/ smaller then a bb pellet)..so i squeezed it and it squashed.. looked at one of the plants in the shallow area and there were a few more...
are these eggs??
if so what should we do??
when will the hatch?

possibly could be eggs...personally i leave them to let nature take care of...survival of the fittest really.

I agree I let nature take its course for mine as well once hatched I sometimes catch a few of the babies and put them in my spare 60 gallon to ave them from immediate attack from their parents and make it easier to feed them so they grow more rapidly. Usually though the majority just live in the pond until I sell them.

hi
yes sounds like eggs if you have plenty of plants and places for the fry to hide then leave them allow and let nature take its course.
you could save some fry from the pond a its nice to raise at least one lot of fry
i have raised 2 lots from eggs the 1st lot i only have 4 babies survive, the 2nd lot 97 survived luckly found home for all but 6 which my son kept
