These eggs are 3 days old now and don't seem to have darkened, is it safe to assume they are not fertilized and get rid of them?

They should go dark within a day if developing, what temp is your fry tank set at?

Is this the first spawn you've had from this pair? If so they aren't so good at it the first time round.

From my pair's first spawning i got only one fish, form the second i got more than 50 fry. If they've spawned once, they spawn again and be better at it the next time.

Yes it is but I'm not entirely sure if i have a pair or 2 females. Only one has spawned but the other one looks like a female too. They are both adult and are 3 inches long including tail, they were given to me by a friend who gave up the hobby.

Ah, well if it's two ladies getting friendly then obviously you're not going to get fertilised eggs. Generally the male is a little smaller than the female. Also the anal fin is more rounded in the female than the male which is more pointed.

This is the one whose gender is in question! What do you think, male or female? Corys are not really my thing, never owned one before but i like these two, i might buy some more.

I can only really tell if i can see the anal fin, but it is quite rotund. I may be inclined to say female.
