thanks, i only bought the bulb 8 days ago,then today it flikerd,then went dim, now doesnt work,does that sound like the tube,if so would i have thr right to take the bulb back if i box it like new and show my receipt :

yes im in the uk ,sunny middlesbrough, i sure hope it is the bulb, i have the receipt and only 8 days ago, but they are very funny in this shop,
