are my filters enough ??????

Im just wondering if my filters i am using on 2 of my tanks are enough cos they seem very week compared to my fluval mx 304 external filter

i`ll put tank dimensions as well as UK gallons as seems to be a difference between UK gallons and US gallons

tank 1

36x12x15 (23 UK gallon)

Fluval plus 3 internal filter
Fluval plus 1 internal filter

tank 2

24x12x15 (15 UK gallon)

Fluval plus 2 internal filter
Fluval 1 internal filter


acording to fluval the plus 3 alone is enough to do the 23g and the plus 2 is enough to do the 15g tank but even with the 2 smaller filters it looks very week compared to my external 304 filter

so i`m wondering if it is ok and doing its job?

I'm using a fluval 4plus on my 42UK... and its ok...

I'm just setting up a 24uk using a fluval 3plus (with a power head for extra current)

and my 13gal is now using a 2plus

nothing wrong with more filtering so all should be fine
